A unique monument dedicated to the women, children, elderly and families at the Cass County Justice Center,

 A monument to honor the memory and tell the stories of the families which endured the turmoil of life on the Missouri/Kansas Border during the Civil War. Now taking donations and selling commemorative bricks  Download this form to support our efforts

 CIVIL WAR MURALS ON HARRISONVILLE SQUARE

Mural artist Daniel Brewer painted two murals depicting scenes from the Civil War in Cass County. The first depicts the Kansas Jayhawkers raiding the Harrisonville Square in July , 1861. The second details the Younger family leaving their home in Sept. 1863 after Order #11 with the Federals burning it. The third features significant events, places and people of the Civil War in Cass County. Fundraising is under way to fund two  more panels illustrating the history of Cass County.
